A professionally installed premium cast vinyl wrap typically lasts 5–7 years with proper care. Cast vinyl (which we exclusively use) outlasts cheaper calendered films significantly. Keeping the car garaged and hand washing extends lifespan further.

Yes — when installed properly on paint in good condition and removed correctly, vinyl wrap comes off cleanly without damage. This is one of the key advantages over a respray. We recommend professional removal after 5+ years.

How much does a full wrap cost?

A full colour-change vinyl wrap starts from KES 120,000 for smaller vehicles and goes up based on vehicle size and finish type. PPF starts from KES 250,000. Ceramic coating from KES 45,000. Window tinting from KES 10,000.

What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

PPF is an optically clear or slightly tinted polyurethane film applied directly to your paint. It absorbs rock chips, scratches, bug acids and UV rays that would otherwise damage your factory paint. Self-healing variants repair light surface scratches in the sun or with warm water.

What's the difference between full PPF and partial PPF?

Full PPF covers the entire vehicle. Partial PPF covers high-impact zones: full front bumper, bonnet, front wings, mirrors and door edges. Partial PPF is a popular choice for daily drivers wanting maximum protection on vulnerable areas at a lower cost.

Can PPF and ceramic coating be combined?

Absolutely — and it is our most popular combination. PPF provides physical protection against impacts, then ceramic coating is applied over the PPF for hydrophobic easy-clean properties and enhanced gloss. The result is the highest level of protection available.

Does PPF turn yellow over time?

Accepted Answer

Lower-quality films do yellow, which is why we only install premium brands (3M Scotchgard Pro, XPEL Ultimate Plus) with optical clarity guarantees. These come with manufacturer warranties of up to 10 years against yellowing and delamination.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Our professional-grade ceramic coatings are warranted for 5 years. With proper maintenance (no automatic car washes, regular pH-neutral washes), they can last 7+ years. Consumer spray-on ceramics sold online last 6–12 months — these are not comparable.

Does my car need paint correction before ceramic coating?

Yes — ceramic coating locks in the condition of your paint permanently. Any swirls, scratches or defects present at the time of coating will be sealed in. We always recommend at least a 1-stage paint correction before coating to achieve the best result.

How do I wash a wrapped car?

Accepted Answer

Hand wash only with a pH-neutral car shampoo and a soft microfibre mitt. Avoid petrol station jet washes — the high pressure can lift wrap edges over time. Never use abrasive compounds or solvent-based cleaners on vinyl.

Can I take a wrapped car through an automatic car wash?

We recommend against automatic brush/touch car washes as the bristles can lift wrap edges over time. Touchless automatic washes are acceptable but hand washing is always best.
